AndNowForSomethingLighter…

So last Sunday’s episode of Sex and the City was about romance.  Carrie thought Alexsander’s version of romance was over the top.  Poetry read by firelight, a song composed for her, a designer dress tied up in a bow, opera tickets and an invitation to dance outside the Met… sigh… Carrie was crazy for not appreciating the full-on effect of a truly romantic man.

Of course, I’ve had a wicked crush on Mikhail Baryshnikov since I was fourteen years old, so that might have something to do with it.  I’d dance with him any day, any time, anywhere (including McDonald’s).  Jason Lewis (Smith Jerrod) may be an Absolut Hunk and I wouldn’t mind him decorating my bed, but Mikhail is romance and style and sex appeal in one very attractive 55 year old package (he’ll be 56 January 27th).  “A man with moves,” as Carrie and Samantha say.

Since it’s my fantasy, I’ll take both, please.  And could we throw in Chris Noth (Mr. Big) for dessert?  Thanks.

Rowwwwrrrrr.
